El retrato sin terminar en el que Lucian Freud aún estaba trabajando antes de su muerte en Julio de 2011, fue exhibido por primera vez en la mayor retrospectiva de su obra en la National Portrait Gallery, Londres, 2012. 

PORTRAIT OF THE HOUND
The unfinished portrait on which Lucian Freud was still working before his death in July last year is exhibited for the first time in this major retrospective of the artist's work at the National Portrait Gallery in London until 27 May 2012.
